On Tuesday, the games that were scheduled first could still be played, but then the games had to be halted due to heavy rain. A disappointment for the players and the public, but certainly also for the tournament organization. After last Friday’s bad weather, the courts have now been ravaged by flooding for the second time and new gravel must be placed on the courts again to make them playable again. Immediately after the weather turned dry, the groundsmen under the watchful eye of tournament director Tomislav Poljak started preparing the courts so that the suspended games can resume today.
