They reached the quarter finals at Roland Garros. It turned out to be the end of the line for Demi Schuurs en Matwé Middelkoop after a convincing win over Hao-Ching Chan/Michael Venus (6-3, 6-2), and the French Alexis Musialek/Kristina Mladenovic. Despite the massive support of the French public in that match, the victory went to the Dutch duo in straight sets: 6-4, 7-5. Below you can see a photo gallery of the first two matches.
