In Umag the Check Jiri Vesely (seede number 7) has reached the quarter finals by defeating Norbert  Gombos form Slovakia (6-4; 6-0) and the Romanian Radu Albot (7-6(3); 6-2). Now he’s facing Paolo Lorenzie from Italiy. Paolo had a bye in the first round (seeded number 4) and won his match against Aljaz Bedene (7-5; 6-3), the former Slovenian, who now has the Britsh nationality .
