A fierce battle between two tennis players not wanting to loose, that’s the summary of the match between the Polish Katarzyna Piter and the French Amandine Hesse. Yet there had to be a winner and in this case it was Amandine (7-6(3); 6-4). Both players fought hard and if eyes could produce fire, the Spodek stadium probably would be burned down. Both players were hard hitting and running like the devil, but unfortunately for the Polish public another compatriot had to leave the single competition
