The Dutch/Romanian couple Jean-Julien Rojer and Horia Tecau have won the Wimbledon final in the doubles 2015. What a great achievement! In the semi finals they had to compete against Rohan Bopanna from India and Florin Mergea (a compatriot of Tecau) who had already beaten the Brian brothers. It was a very though match, but at the end of the fifth set the score was 13-11 in favour of the Ducth/Romanian team. In the final Rojer and Tecau defeated the Scottish Jamie Murray and the Australian John Peers with 7-6 6-4 6-4. It is their first Grand Slam doubles title together. Juls and Horia are a very solid team. They have won many titles. For example this year they won the ABN AMRO tournament in Rotterdam and at Roland Garros they already reached the semifinals. Last year Jean-Julien won at Roland Garros his first Grand Slam title in the mixed tournament with the Germain Anna-Lena Groenefeld. Now he has won a Grand Slam on the magic grass of Wimbledon. For the humble Rojer a dream came true.
