Unfortunately we didn’t saw Jelena Ostapenko playing in Paris. This youngster from Latvia plays aggressive, without any fear to make mistakes. We saw her doing this in Katowice (Poland) in 2016. She hits the ball very hard and she’s not anxious to take risks. The last thing that Jelena is, is shy. She is not intimidated by big names nor reputations. We’ll have to see if that also goes when she ‘s in a grand slam final, but we do know thats she’s able to make a fuss on the court. We have also seen that’s she can play tennis really well.  Let’s hope she will show her best game against her opponent, the sympathetic Romanian Simona Halep.
