There will be nog tango dance on the court on Sunday with Alizé Cornet. She promised to tango with a Polish journalist on the center court if she would win the tournament again. The dream of this journalist went up in smoke because the Italian Francesca Schiavone defeated the French lady by 7-6 (5) and 6-1, so Cornet is out of the tournament. Schiavone was as always playing very aggressive but also produced beautiful drop shots from time to time. By doing so she gave proof for the accuracy of the argument of her opponent that the drop shot is a huge wagon (see the article we published earlier). Now there is going to be a very interesting quarter final between Francesca Schiavone and Dominika Cibulkova, who defeated Elizaveta Kulichkova from Russia. The Russian girl was close to a win in the first set, which she lost by 7-6 (4), but she was blown away in the second set by the Slovak (6-0).
