You never have to wonder if there are Slovakian fans in the stadium. You will hear that for yourself. It was no different in the match between Norbert Rombos and the Italian Franco Agamenone. But despite the passionate encouragement of his compatriots, the Slovak failed to beat Agamenone. The Italian however certainly did not receive the victory as a gift. Norbert served again firmly, most of the time over 200 kilometers per hour. And in addition to hard groundstrokes, the Slovak also proved to have an astonishing speed and running ability, which often allowed him to parry Agamenone’s drop shots. After the first set went to the Italian 6-4, Rombos came back very strong in the second set (6-1), but eventually had to give in in an exciting third set (7-5). By winning the match Franco Agamenone reaches the main tournament.
